June 8th -- 6th Edition with 2010 All-Rookie Team forward, Jesse Cole

Hello Snakes fans! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I'm already excited about the upcoming season and anxious to get back down to great ol' Columbus. We had a disappointing end to last season, so I know all of the guys are eager to return and get back to work. Our summer is a time to relax and prepare for the upcoming season.

I've been back home in "God's Country," as most of us Canadians like to call it, for just over a month now and it's been good to catch up with family and friends. I'm currently working at my old job, cleaning windows for the summer, which is what I did when I was in university. It's good to be outside all day and enjoy the sun. If anyone wants tips on how to make those windows glisten, don't hesitate to ask! My summer will mostly consist of working, catching up with friends, and of course training for next season.

My first season as a Snake was a great experience for me. Although we fell short of our goal as a team, I learned a lot about the game and met a lot of good people in the process. To the fans: you guys were great. You supported us all year and as a player, we appreciate that. From my first day in Columbus, it felt like home for me. I've been a lot of different places throughout my hockey career, and since day one, I felt comfortable and excited to be in Columbus, so thank you guys for your support and all that you do for us.

The end of the season is always hard, having to say goodbye to your teammates. We spend a lot of time together and might not see some of the guys again. One player that was difficult to say goodbye to was Craig Stahl. I only played one year with Stahlsy, but learned a lot from him. He was a great player to watch and learn from, and he will be missed in our locker room.

Well fans, I hope you all have a great summer, and are as excited as we are about next season!

See ya at the Snake Pit!

Colesy
