ARTICLE 14 PLAYER SPONSOR PROGRAM

If the Sponsorship Program is approved by the Cottonmouths Office, applications to serve as a sponsor for a Player will be accepted by the Booster Club. Players will be assigned a sponsor by the Executive Board working in conjunction with the Columbus Cottonmouths Ice Hockey Club’s Front Office.  Any active ADULT member of the Booster Club who has been an active member for at least one year may make application to serve as a sponsor. The Booster Club and it’s members agree to abide by the rules set by the Columbus Cottonmouths in participating as a player sponsor.  It is also understood that some individual players may not wish to have a sponsor provided and those wishes will be honored. Non-members of the Booster Club are not eligible for the sponsorship program.  Any Booster Club Member selected as a sponsor that fails to remain an active member or violates Booster Club or Columbus Cottonmouths Ice Hockey Club Rules will forfeit his/her/their rights to participate in the program and have his/her/their player assigned to another eligible member by the Executive Board and/or The Columbus Cottonmouths Ice Hockey Club.  Sponsors who fail to attend TWO consecutive General Membership Meetings of the Booster Club without an approved excuse by the Executive Board will have his/her/their player reassigned to another eligible member.
